The Metro Employees Historic Vehicle Association (MEHVA) is pleased to announce our return to operations after four years!
In October 2019, MEHVA was informed by King County Metro by the King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office that the association was not covered by King County Metro’s self-insurance due to the county not having enough direct involvement in the History Fleet’s Operations.
Through careful negotiation and compromise, King County Metro and MEHVA have modified our relationship, so we work more closely together to keep the historic fleet operational, restore coaches and expand our fleet as current equipment retires.
For 2025, MEHVA will be easing back with three our most popular excursions:
· Snoqualmie Railroad Day Excursion - Buses and Trains! A match made in heaven!
· Fall Foliage – See the leave change color on a leisurely trip though East King County
· Holiday Lights - A 40 year MEHVA tradition, ride our historic buses to see some of the best Christmas lights in all of Seattle.
